NPC:/talk They got Yesao? Who is they? Was it his blood we saw at the Ethereal Haven?! Is he…

NPC:/sad Dead… he's dead! We tried to get him to safety so we can patch up his wounds, but it took all his strength to get here and soon after we arrived, he was gone.

NPC:/fact Who attacked him? Were either of you hurt as well?

NPC:/please It was the Akasch. We went up to the Ethereal Haven and I showed Timbo and Yesao the changes we saw on the various structures. Yesao then went to take a look what the rest of the Ipnya Ridge looks like, like @PC_NAME(0) did.

NPC:/fact Meanwhile I was curious about the large, arcane runes that appeared in the center of the Haven and while Louisa and I investigated them, a portal to the Abyss opened behind us.

NPC:/worry By the Mother. So it's confirmed: the Akasch can open portals not only in the Central Hall in the Mysthrane Gorge, but here as well. What happened to Yesao, was he pushed off the Haven?

NPC:/talk Yesao saved us. Timbo and I were so distracted by the runes, we didn't even notice the Akasch creep up behind us and when one of their warriors was about to strike us, Yesao tackled him and fought him off.

NPC:/fact If it weren't for him, the Akasch would have taken my head off, but Yesao took the blow to his chest instead. I handed him the Teleport Rock and we got out of there as fast as we could.

NPC:/talk Yesao said he remembered an abandoned cave east of the Haven, so we thought it might be a safe place to rest and heal him, but as you can see… we took too long to get here.

NPC:/talk My sincerest condolences. This is not how I imagined our reunion to be, Louisa.

NPC:/talk Carmel, this is not how I wanted us to meet again either. We only knew Yesao for a short time, but he was brave and smart and even funny in his own way.

NPC:/talk He really sounds like a brave man and a selfless soul. Let's bring justice to the Akasch that did this to him… and when all of this is over and we write his name at the Memorial, we shall honor him.

NPC:/talk A comforting though, that things might return to normal and we can give Yesao the burrial he deserves, but the creatures we saw at the Haven are far more powerful than any other Akasch followers I ever saw.

NPC:/fact If that is the case, I'm afraid we must return to the Ethereal Haven and find a way to disable that portal or contain it at the very least. So far, we have not seen any other portals in the Ipnya Ridge.

NPC:/talk So as ill-advised as it seems to be going back there, it's the only place we can hope to learn more and how to fight back. This time however, we will all go together and be prepared to leave in an instant, if danger arises.

NPC:/worry Despite the few Akasch followers that seems to have taken refuge in this cave already, I think this might be a good safe space. I vote we clear out this cave and make it the base of our operation.

NPC:/talk If nothing else, there is only one way in and out of the area, so it will be easy for us to patrol, even with our small numbers. I say aye, to making camp here as well.

NPC:/fact And until things are calmed down again in the Ipnya Ridge, we should make a small burial for Yesao, so he can rest here with dignity.

NPC:/conclude My carelessness is what led to his passing in the end, so please allow me the honor of finding a suitable spot and burrying him.

NPC:/fact Very well, that will be your duty then. Nami, you should get some water from the sea and clean up the blood trail leading to the cave entrance, so the Akasch won't be able to track us here.

NPC:/talk Sounds good to me. I will clear the trail as far as I feel comfortable going by myself and then wait for reinforcements to do the rest. I know the situation is urgent, but let's all keep ourselves safe.

NPC:/talk I agree, one death was already one too many. @PC_NAME(0) and I will scout the rest of the cave and clear out as many Akasch followers as we can. Ardios, you're a decent enough fighter, you should help us with that too.

NPC:/talk Good, we all have our tasks then. Let's get this done in a timely manner, but as Nami and Louisa said, keep yourselves safe and call for help if something seems strange. Don't be a hero.

NPC:/talk I suppose I will be the only person out of sight for an extended period of time, so I will come back and check in once every full hour. Should I not return, please assume something might have happened and come looking for me.

NPC:/fact That's a good plan, but please just turn around and come back here at the first sight of danger, Carm… I mean, Nami, ok?
