NPC:/fact Believe it or not, that little girl's got Wyrdwind blood in her veins! You see her father was a Wyrdwind noble, but her mother was a peasant. And according to the laws of Two Crowns, any offspring of a peasant is a peasant by default.

NPC:/excuse The Wyrdwinds refused to lie about the girl's parentage, but neither would they let one of their own grow up in chains. So they smuggled her out of the kingdom, and set her up with a loving pair of foster parents here in Halcyona.

NPC:/talk But then the wars started, and the pirates moved in. The girl's foster parents were murdered, and she ended up here with Dorothy. That's when the Wyrdwinds sent me, supposedly to "keep an eye on the farm." Bah! Babysitting is more like it.

NPC:/dialogue So here I sit, drinking away my boredom and chasing off the occasional flea-bitten pirate. Bloody nobles and their bloody politics... What? Don't believe me? Just ask Senna Wyrdwind, out past the brewery. She'll tell ya!
