NPC:/dialogue According to The Form and Application of Advanced Tri-Dimensional Magic, the orb has something to do with the Ayanad Council--which I already suspected.

NPC:/contend What I didn't know was that the council watched and recorded the movement of every mage who ever visited the library, making sure the collections were safe.

NPC:/sigh The orb seems to be involved in that monitoring process, but I can't figure out exactly how.

NPC:/quarrel If anyone knows more about the orb, it'll be Belstrom, the leader of the Ayanad Disciples.

NPC:/fact Belstrom was the only survivor after Kyrios's attack on the library. He still feels an attachment to the ruins, and lives on the hill overlooking them from the North.
