NPC:/talk See, any sod can plant a bush or feed a cow. But turning raw ore into shining ingots, or a stack of metal and leather into deadly weapons and armor... now that's an art you can be proud of.

NPC:/excuse But before you go off making great big swords and whatnot, you've got to learn the basics. Good materials require the proper additives. We'll start with leather, since it's the easiest.

NPC:/talk To properly prepare a decent piece of leather armor, you need to treat it with the right oils. In this case you'll need Small Seed Oil, which is made from Rice, Corn, and Onyx Archeum Essence.

NPC:/talk The crops are easy enough to grow, but the Onyx Archeum Essence is going to be tough. You can only get it by trading with Item Traders across the sea.

NPC:/contend You can get Onyx Archeum Essence by purchasing Nuian or Auroran cargo from a Haranyan Trade Outlet, then exchanging it at an inland Haranyan Trade Outlet.

NPC:/dialogue When you've got everything you need, come on back to me. Then you can get some hands-on experience.
