NPC:/conclude Once you've got the Chick, place it in the Public Farm. You can feed it Ground Grain to help it grow, or just let it grow up naturally.

Place the animal just like you would a plant. Animals are protected for 3 days when raised on a Public Farm.

Chicks can grow with or without Ground Grain, but feeding them Ground Grain will speed their growth. When a Chick is fully grown, it will become a Chicken.

If butchered immaturely, a Chick produces little or no Chicken Meat. Only a fully grown Chicken will always produce meat.

You:If you feed Ground Grain to an adult Chicken, it will thrive. Thriving Chickens produce more Chicken Meat when butchered.
