NPC:/command If you find the Goldscale Scales in the lake, you might realize why we're trying to preserve the engravings here at the tower. The empire fell centuries ago, but its history remains.

NPC:/say The skyfins have extreme lifespans. When I first considered how to restore the stone engravings, I thought about replacing them with carved scales.

NPC:/conclude The scales remain long after a skyfin dies, and as long as they're untouched will remain preserved forever. But there lies the problem; once touched, they disintegrate.
