NPC:/talk After briefly sifting through some of the tomes we found here, I was able to find out what this device in the middle of this room is called and what it's for. The Akasch call it Voidbreaker.

NPC:/talk It was designed to weaken the barrier created by the Ipnya, which ultimately kept the Akasch in the Abyss until now. I still don't know what they're doing with my mother, but the purpose of this room we managed to reveal.

Dialogs:

NPC:/talk Stopping this device will not be as simple as giving it a good whack or channeling simple dispell magic into it. Raeven combined both highly advanced engineering with arcane powers to enforce it.

NPC:/fact You are more than welcome to remain here and continue your investigation of the Voidbreaker, but I must go to the Queen's Altar and save my mother.

NPC:/talk There is no use in us remaining here and staring at tomes none of us can understand. Stopping Raeven from harvesting Orchidna's power for his own gains seems to be just as important.

NPC:/worry Ardios is right, we will come with you Damian and fight these creatures of the Abyssal Legion. The fact that you saw your mother surrounded by the Abyssal Legion, not the actual Akasch, means the Queen's Altar is in our dimension, doesn't it?

NPC:/talk The Queen's Altar is supposed to be in the Abyss, not here, but the Voidbreaker likely suppressed the protection barrier of the Ipnya long enough, for parts of it to have warped into our world.

NPC:/talk My friends, I know you are courageous and want to help, but the fact that the Queen's Altar is a place of the Abyss means it is likely too dangerous for you to visit.

NPC:/talk I don't care about my own life. If we don't stop Raeven, we all are doomed anyway, so what's the point of waiting in safety, when we can help you right now?

NPC:/talk Hear, hear! You can count on my blade as well, Damian. I'd rather die trying to protect our world, than cower and watch it slowly be swallowed by those serpents.
